At 40, Julia Roberts wants to make less.
Less garbage, that is.
“We make a lot of garbage. How can we make less garbage? This is our plight. I use Seventh Generation (chlorine-free, non-toxic) diapers for Finn and Hazel, and then I was turned on to the (plastic-free, flushable) gDiapers” for Henry. “It is flushable, but you’ve got to stir that thing! If you don’t really break it all the way up, it doesn’t go all the way down.”
Those megawatt smile just made me buy and read Julia Roberts’ intimitate interview from the December 2007 issue of Vanity Fair.
Ask about any Actors who she wants to work with: “I would like to work with Johnny Depp… I think he is so interesting, and I think we look a like in a funny way. Johnny Depp and I will play brother and sister in something.”
Ask about Britney Spears, whose implosion seems to be playing out on TV everyday: “I see and hear what’s happening to Britney Spears and it’s all I can do not to move her into my guesthouse and say, “O.K., this is how it’s going to be!” And just take care of her. I’ve stopped watching those shows, because Danny hates it and I feel that it creates a negative energy in our very peaceful home.”
Ask about having another child: “No. I don’t think so, because at this point I’m having so much fun with them. You only have so much energy and you want to put so much energy into each child. I wouldn’t know how to have five kids. And they’re a really good trio, these three.”
Ask if there’s anything else she’s determined to accomplish: “My dream is to be a highly fulfilled and productive stay-at-home mom and wife. But also to have my own creative outlet, even if it’s silly needlework and stuff like that.”
Ask any prop or costume that she’ve kept and treasure: “I’ve kept a lot of things. The one thing that I don’t have that I sold at auction was the little $5 skimpy polyester dress that I wore in ‘Pretty Woman’ that had little rings on it.”
Ask how famous she is: “Before, you could build a career over years and many movies. Now it’s like you do one good movie and they throw a ton of money at you and a ton of attention at you.”

Wow on the nappies. it must have cost a fortune to buy those recyclable and “flushable” nappies!

she’s 40? great looking at 40 i must say. I admire her for keeping her family number limited so that she can take good care of her 3 kids..now that’s a good mom!
to answer your question, the spider was hanging on my window last summer..it was so minute I could hardly see it….anyway I did not clean my window for the entire summer because of it..great model! *lol*

those nappies are probably designer diapers! hehe. i am now having second thoughts whether to inquire about the gDiapers on the net.
Ris, unless your little darling still wear a diaper, why not? There’s actually a water-proof diapers you can buy for little swimmers esp if you let them swim in a public pool.
oh yeah k, i wrote something about furnitures and stuff (it’s new). check it out, i know you’re going to like it for your apartment therapy. hehe

uhm, waterproof diapers? is that environment friendly?
well, i only like particular home decors, and if i can imagine it to be part of my own house. but when it comes to appreciating architecture and designs, i’m not too good at it.
Ris, and you know what, I ended up in a ward section instead of carrying a pencil and a scrathpad. Kasi naman that time, “in-demand” daw ang mag-aral ng Nursing, kaya ayun nafrustrate. If only we were rich, sana I went to Manila and studied there, wala kasing Arts and Design sa Bicol (that time).
